What is included in a regular cleaning?
A regular cleaning is considered maintenance, where we come in on a routine basis to keep your home clean. In this service we clean your bathrooms, kitchen, and all rooms. We empty all the wastebaskets, dust ceiling fans and baseboards, and vacuum and mop all flooring.
How much will it cost?
The cost of your initial cleaning is based on your home’s size, condition, number of residents, pets, and linens. The quoted price is an estimate and may vary. If additional time is needed, we’ll get your approval before proceeding. After the first cleaning, we can set a fixed price for recurring services (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?
We bring all our own eco-friendly cleaning products and equipment. Our environmentally friendly Electrolyzed Water, hospital-grade disinfectant and multisurface cleaner is safe for your family and pets. Our color-coded microfiber cloth system prevents cross-contamination in your home. We also use the best HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaners in the industry which are proven to improve indoor air quality.
Can I request special tasks or extras?
We’re happy to do extra tasks in your home! Please call our office before your cleaning to update our technicians’ instructions. Keep in mind that additional tasks may require more time and incur extra charges; we will adjust your price for the day.
You can also add special services like oven and refrigerator cleaning through your customer portal. The portal allows you to update payment info, change notification preferences, and view your schedule.
Is my billing information safe and secure?
Yes, our software system, including credit card information, is encrypted and password-protected. You can update your credit card through your customer portal or by calling our office. Our staff can only view the last 4 digits of your card for security purposes.
Does Maid Brigade Offer One Time or On Call Cleanings?
Maid Brigade specializes in recurring cleaning service. We also offer one-time, move-in, move-out, post-construction, and small office cleanings, subject to schedule availability. Call us for a quote and to check availability.
Do I have to be present during my scheduled service?
No, you don’t need to be present during your scheduled service. Many of our clients provide access through a door/garage code or a key. For recurring services, we offer a free key lockbox, or you can provide a key that is issued to our technicians on the day of service. Keys are securely stored in a locked cabinet at the office and are coded for privacy, ensuring they can’t be traced back to your address.
What is your satisfaction guarantee policy?
We stand behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy with the cleaning for any reason, we’ll come back to make it right. We don’t offer discounts or refunds, but we are committed to your satisfaction.

How does the On-line quote and scheduling work?
Our online quoting tool gives you an estimate for recurring services (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) as well as an initial deep clean. It is based on the details you provide. You can choose an available date from our calendar and schedule the appointment using a credit card. While this isn’t the final price, it should be close. We will reach out to discuss your home, answer any questions, and confirm the estimated quote.

Do you guarantee a day and time for my cleaning appointments?
Maid Brigade guarantees the day for your cleaning appointment, but we cannot commit to a specific time due to our flexible and ever-changing schedule. However, you can call us on the day of your service, and we will provide you with a 2-hour window for our technicians’ arrival. Additionally, we’ll send you a text when they’re on their way with an updated estimated arrival time.
If you have any time constraints, feel free to let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you and find a solution that works for both sides.
What if I need to reschedule a cleaning date?
We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to reschedule. No problem! Just give us a call, text, or email at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll be happy to accommodate your request. We’ll do our best to keep you with your regular cleaning technician, depending on your availability.
Will I always have the same cleaning technicians?
We strive to send you the same cleaning technicians as much as possible. The more frequent your service, the more consistently you’ll see the same technicians. Weekly and bi-weekly services typically allow us to accommodate this request while with monthly services, we do our best to maintain consistency. Keeping your schedule regular, without rescheduling or skipping days, also helps make sure you get the same technicians. Our software helps match your preferences, and we make every effort to meet your needs. The only exceptions are if a technician requests time off, is sick, or on vacation.
How does payment work?
Payment is due on the day of service. We accept all major credit cards and checks, and we require a credit card to be kept on file. For convenience, we’ll charge your card the day after the cleaning, unless you leave a check for the cleaning technicians to pick up.
Will you use my cleaning supplies?
Maid Brigade provides all the cleaning supplies and equipment, using eco-friendly products. If you’d prefer us to use your cleaning supplies, we’re happy to accommodate. Please note that our insurance will not cover any damage caused by your products. Additionally, you’ll need to provide your own cleaning cloths and mops if you choose to use your supplies.
Should I tip my cleaning technicians?
Tipping is not required but is always appreciated for exceptional service. After your cleaning, you’ll receive a quality survey via text or email, where you can rate your technicians and, if you wish, leave a tip for outstanding work. You can also tip through your customer portal or by contacting our office.
Do I need to sign a contract for cleaning services?
No, you don’t need to sign a contract. Maid Brigade operates on an at-will basis, and we never require a contract for our services. You can cancel at any time with a 48-hour notice before your next cleaning. We focus on providing value and earning your trust to clean your home. Be cautious of discount services that advertise a full house cleaning for $19 on your first visit but lock you into a 6-month to 1-year contract in fine print.
What do I need to do to prepare for cleaning day?
While it is not necessary to do any cleaning before our arrival, we ask general clutter, clothing, and toys be picked up to allow us to focus our time on cleaning surfaces.
